I imagine few people are reading this anymore, and it's just as well since there is no more Sarah & BJ's married life. I'll be closing this website shortly. Christmas Gift Exchange

For reasons I can totally understand, some people don't trust computers to handle assigning christmas partners. So to check if my partner picker program worked, everyone should leave an anonymous comment with the name of the person you've been assigned to buy for. If all the names show up once, we'll know the program worked. See you all at Christmas.

As BJ covered below, the stated purpose of this weblog has become somewhat moot. As he also said, it's been fairly good-natured, and while I can't speak to how he feels too much, I know in my heart that this is for the best, however difficult it may be.

Thanks for any ways in which we've been in your thoughts and prayers in the past little while. In particular, to BJ's family, I will miss you and hope to see you sometime soon. None of this has been easy, but on the list of the difficult is letting go of the extended family that had become mine for so long.

Chapter Two

Some of you had a heads up about this, but now it's official.  Sarah and I have separated.  Don't fret about it though, it was more or less mutual.  She's interested in pursuing a new life without strings, and it's in my best interest to do the same.   I hope to remain friends, as I care about Sarah deeply, but whatever comes I'm sure we will both prosper.
